Frequently Asked Questions
You don’t need to have everything figured out before you arrive here.
This page exists to answer the practical questions you might have, but also to offer reassurance. Many women who find this work are tired, overwhelmed, cautious, or unsure whether this space is “for them”.
That makes sense.
If you don’t see your question answered here, you’re always welcome to get in touch. There’s no pressure, no obligation, and no expectation that you explain more than you want to.
FAQs
Is this therapy?
No, not in the traditional, clinical sense.
My work is therapeutic and trauma-informed, but it isn’t a replacement for medical or psychiatric care. This space is about nervous system safety, self-trust, and gentle integration, not diagnosis or “fixing” you.
Many women combine this work alongside therapy. Others come here after therapy, when they want something slower, softer, and more embodied.
Do I need to have experienced abuse or trauma to be here?
No. Some women arrive with a clear story of abuse or trauma. Others simply feel exhausted, disconnected, anxious, or “not quite themselves” anymore.
You don’t need to justify your pain. If something in this work resonates, that’s enough.
What if I don't want to relieve my Past?
You won’t be asked to. This work does not involve retelling traumatic experiences or revisiting graphic memories. We work with the body, the nervous system, and the present moment, always at a pace that feels safe.
Healing doesn’t require re-traumatisation.
Is this suitable if I’m high-functioning?
Yes, especially then. Many women I work with are highly capable, intelligent, and successful on the outside, while feeling lost, anxious, or emotionally shut down inside. You’re not broken, you’re likely very well adapted to surviving.
This space honours both your strength and your exhaustion.
What if I am not ready to heal yet?
That’s okay, there is no timeline here. No pressure to change. No expectation that you arrive hopeful or motivated. Sometimes the most important first step is simply finding a place where your nervous system can soften, even just a little.
What kind of practices do you use?
Depending on the space or offering, this may include:
-
nervous system regulation
-
somatic awareness
-
gentle guided reflection
-
hypnosis or subconscious work
-
emotional integration
-
rest-based practices
Nothing is forced. Everything is invitational.
Do I need experience with yoga, meditation or 'inner work'?
Not at all. This work is designed to be accessible, grounded, and human. You don’t need prior experience, just a willingness to learn how to listen to yourself.
Is this confidential?
Yes. Your privacy and safety matter deeply. Any personal information or shared experiences are held with care and discretion.
How do I know if this is right for me?
You don’t have to decide all at once.
You’re welcome to explore slowly, through free content, newsletters, or introductory spaces, and notice how your body responds. A sense of relief, recognition, or calm is often a better guide than logic.
Can I contact you before I join anything?
Absolutely.
If you have a question, uncertainty, or just need clarification, you’re welcome to reach out. There’s no pressure to commit to anything.
